we can confirm that Mazda will announce a voluntary recall on 2004, 2005 and some 2006 model year RX-8s. Mazda has confirmed to us that owners will be receiving notices in the next month or so

Mazda RX-8 owners were pretty upset with Mazda over a video leaked that indicated surveys they completed on dealer service would not be counted. Autoblog managed to get an official response from Mazda and more details regarding the video, which should never have been leaked.
